Celtic Academy is a results driven Life Changing Training facility based at the world famous Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales. A facility that would rival many professional sports clubs is open to anyone and everyone as long as you have a training goal.

Just like you won’t find any mirrors up at Celtic Academy HQ, you won’t find any fads or fashionable training regimes. What you will find however are structured classes to suit everyone’s ability and needs, you’ll find all the equipment you need and none of the equipment you don’t need and finally, you’ll find a hard working group of coaches whose attention to detail helps build a gym environment that once experienced is hard to leave behind.

ABOUT US

Founded in the summer of 2013, Celtic Academy was a long term dream that became reality for owner Richard Davies who wanted to create a gym like he’d experienced on his travels but one that came without the exclusivity of only being accessible to professional athletes. He wanted to create a space that everyone, regardless of age and ability was welcome to come to and experience what it is like to train as if you were a professional sports person.

It’s that core value that lies behind everything that Celtic Academy is about. From the Junior Academy through to the late night Express MetCon classes, everything is designed and implemented with the client/user/athlete at its centre and their life changing results as its driver.

The gym’s pedigree as an environment similar to that you’d find in a professional sports environment has been reinforced by the calibre of teams that have used the gym as their training base whilst on their travels. From the teams of the 2015 Rugby World Cup to Team GB’s Track Cycling team during their prep for Rio 2016, the gym comfortably holds its own when world class athletes are in house, but is at its best when full of everyday people looking to get more back from the hard work and dedication they put in to their Life Changing Training.
